Hours & visiting
- What are your hours?
- Monday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- Do I need a reservation?
- No — we’re walk-in only. Larger parties (8 or more) can call ahead at (832) 286-1609 and we’ll do our best to seat you together.
- Is there parking?
- Yes — free parking lot at the diner. Easy access from Veterans Memorial Dr, just north of Beltway 8.
- Are you family-friendly?
- Yes. We have a kids menu, high chairs, and a casual atmosphere. Kids and seniors get their own menu sections with smaller portions and family-friendly prices.
- Is the diner accessible?
- Yes. Ground-level entry, accessible parking, and an accessible restroom. Let your server know if there’s anything else we can do to help.
Ordering
- Can I order online?
- Yes. Order pickup or delivery through ReddyOrder. Tap any ORDER ONLINE button on the site, or visit reddyorder.com/s/natesdiner directly.
- Do you deliver?
- Yes — through ReddyOrder and most major delivery platforms in the Houston area. Delivery times and fees depend on your distance from the diner.
- Do you offer takeout?
- Yes. Order ahead online for pickup, or call us at (832) 286-1609 and we’ll have it ready when you arrive.
- Can I order catering or for a large party?
- Call us at (832) 286-1609 to plan ahead. We’ll work with you on the menu and timing.
- What payment methods do you accept?
- Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and cash in the restaurant. Online orders are paid through ReddyOrder.
Food & dietary
- Do you serve breakfast all day?
- Yes. Every breakfast plate on the menu — pancakes, omelettes, French toast, biscuits & gravy, chicken & waffles — is available every hour we’re open.
- Do you have vegetarian options?
- Yes. Veggie omelettes, side salads, fried okra, mac & cheese, sweet potato fries, a Spinach Avocado Burger, and more. Our kitchen shares fryers and grills with non-vegetarian dishes, so we can’t guarantee strict separation — tell your server if that matters to you.
- Do you have gluten-free options?
- Some items can be prepared without gluten, but our kitchen handles wheat daily and we can’t guarantee any dish is gluten-free. Please tell your server about any allergy or intolerance before ordering.
- Are portions big?
- Yes — Texas-sized. Most plates leave you with leftovers. The Big Meal, T-Bone Dinner, and Combo Fajitas are particularly generous.
- Are there senior or kids portions?
- Yes. Senior plates start at $9.49 (cheeseburger, combos, omelette, BLT, dinner). Junior plates start at $7.99 (burger, tenders, grilled cheese, waffle face, quesadilla).
- What if I have a food allergy?
- Tell your server before ordering. Our dishes may contain or come into contact with wheat, eggs, dairy, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, and sesame. We do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee any dish is fully allergen-free.
Practical
- Is there Wi-Fi?
- Yes — free guest Wi-Fi. Ask your server for the password.
- Are dogs allowed?
- Service animals are always welcome inside. Pets are not allowed in the dining room, but you can grab a takeout order with them at your side.
- Do you take walk-ins?
- Yes — that’s how we operate. Wait times depend on the time of day. Weekend brunch hours are busiest.
- Where exactly are you?
